We invite you to think about whether you would like to host a boy or girl and what characteristics you would like in a student so he or she will fit in well with your family.
To help defray expenses, host families receive $80.00 for each week of the student's stay. The French kids have their own spending money, are fully insured, and speak English well enough to make themselves understood. By the end of the visit, they should have improved because of the constant practice. Some of the French kids will be almost fluent when they arrive.
Many families have kids the same ages as the French kids, 13-19, but others have younger kids or no kids at all. All families are considered. Single women with a child are considered, but single men are not eligible.You can find out almost all there is to know here on our blog.
